College Information and Scholarships
Complete the FAFSA® form to be considered for federal, state, and school financial aid programs. This includes grants, scholarships, work-study funds, and loans.
The New York State Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) helps eligible New York residents pay tuition at approved schools in New York. Depending on the academic year in which you begin college, an annual TAP award can be up to $5,165. However, you must apply for FAFSA first before you can apply for TAP.
Eligible students from families earning $125,000 or less can attend a state-operated SUNY or CUNY college tuition-free.
The Scholarships for Academic Excellence (SAE) provide high school students that are the top student(s) in their respective high school at the end of their junior year with a scholarship to attend an institution of higher education located in New York State.
