The New York State Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) helps eligible New York residents pay tuition at approved schools in New York. Depending on the academic year in which you begin college, an annual TAP award can be up to $5,165. However, you must apply for FAFSA first before you can apply for TAP.

RIT is proud to offer the Destler/Johnson Rochester City Scholars program to full-time first-year students from public and charter schools within the Rochester City School District and the Urban-Suburban Interdistrict Transfer Program. Admitted students are eligible for full tuition covered through a combination of RIT scholarships, and state and federal need-based grants...
